| For us at Pentafolio, working on projects in education is a treat. There is always something to learn, even from the youngest schoolchildren! And as they say, the best way to learn is to teach (or in our case, the best way to learn is to develop teaching tools…) | ||

Graphic Design ServiceConseil des écoles catholiques de langue française du Centre-est (CECLFCE), 1988-2005 Pentafolio worked closely with the CECLFCE (formerly the Conseil des écoles séparées catholiques d'Ottawa, then the Conseil des écoles catholiques de langue française de la région d'Ottawa-Carleton) Public Relations service for the production of newsletters, advertising, brochures, flyers, presentations and annual reports. Here are a few samples: an animation created for teaching staff; the PDF of a course calendar cover; a poster; and a flyer. Pentafolio also created the school board’s visual identity that can be seen on these pieces. |

“Le français pour moi” (French for Me) Board GamePublic Service Commission of Canada, 1988 This quiz game for public service employees is used to measure French-language skills acquired during language training. Because only a small number of copies were required, Pentafolio designed and then hand-crafted most of the package: the board, box, and game cards were screen printed then laminated; while the booklets and “money” were offset-printed. We even supplied the tokens and dice to round out the game. |
