About |
Pentafolio, much like disco, tight jeans, video games, and skateboarding, was a child of the 70s. Illustration and audiovisuals were in vogue. Progressively, our company branched out into graphic design and page makeup, print management, and video production. The computer age brought in a slew of high-performance production tools. In the last decade, digital slides, digital video, interactive CD-ROMs, and DVDs have been added to our media repertoire. With the Internet evolving into the dominant broadcast network, our company has evolved along with it, developing skills in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and Flash. |

The five headings of our portfolio also represent our personal and collective interests. Outside of our work sphere, we are also involved in projects relating to the environment, organic agriculture, fair-trade coffee, integration, well-being, and knowledge sharing. Pentafolio’s key players are: Jean-Pierre Béland — CEO — Project management, photography, audio and video editing, programming, integration and Flash animation Jean-Emmanuel Allard — Principal — Communication consulting, illustration, photography, video filming and animation Stephanie Pelot — Principal — Content management, graphic design, photo retouching and montage, and video editing Joël Béland — IT services, Internet services, videoconferencing, and Vertdire/Greenspill Director. We work with a number of talented individuals on specific projects, including Colette Coughlin and Catherine Mageau (special projects), Marie-Laure Turmel (video filming and editing), and Nicolas Béland (video filming and technical support). Little Kamé is also featured in the picture above: she is our frequent inspiration and entertainment. |

Location |
Our head office is in rural Eastern Ontario. We also work out of a studio located at 2911 Laurier Street in Clarence-Rockland, which is very accessible from Ottawa. We have ongoing activities in Gatineau, Quebec — we are equally comfortable working in French Canada as well as English Canada. | |

Pentafolio is constituted under the Canada Business Corporations Act (number 256600-1). It was incorporated on January 25, 1990, following a transfer of assets from Les Illustrateurs de l'Outaouais inc., established in 1979. We have 11 shareholders (regular shares) and 8 investors (with voting shares). Our mission is: “To establish collaborative and transparent working relationships with our clients, offering creative solutions adapted to their needs and budgets.” |
